Hotel Riu Taino 
The hotel Riu Taino is situated within the Riu resort in Punta Cana directly on the 26 kms long beach of fine sand. The bungalow complex nestles in the middle of a palm grove which is right on the beach. It is 35 km from Punta Cana airport and 50 from the city of Higüey.
The hotel offers
The main building has a reception (credit cards accepted), restaurant with no-smoking section, bar with lounge, and a small shop. In the "Caribbean Street" of the Riu complex there are a souvenir shop, boutique, games room, medical service, jeweller´s, pizzeria (incl.), gym, massage parlour, hairdresser's, photography shop and "Pacha" discothèque. The fresh water swimming pool with children's section is next to the beach and has a sunbathing terrace with loungers, sun umbrellas and towels. The pool bar serves refreshing drinks and light dishes at midday. At a fee, there is baby-sitting service, upon request, and laundry.
Rooms
360 in all. The standard rooms, in the two-storey bungalows, have a bath/wc, queen-size and single bed, central air-conditioning, tel., satellite TV, mini-bar, liqueur dispenser, safe deposit box and balcony or terrace. The larger rooms, have a queen-size bed, a single bed, and a sofa-bed. Suites with a queen size bed have a living room. The bedroom area is reached by going up 2 steps.
Sports
Free table tennis, gym, 1 floodlit tennis court, canoeing, wind-surfing, one scuba diving test (in the pool) and sailing. At a fee, banana, water-skiing, fishing and scuba diving. Golf course about 12 km. away.
Entertainment
Daytime entertainment and night time shows for adults every day. Live music, several times a week. Furthermore, the Pacha discothèque is open every night. Entertainment for children of 4-14 years old several times a week
All inclusive
Full Board. Breakfast buffet including wholemeal products, on the spot cooking and/or continental breakfast/snack. Snacks are offered at midday. Dinner consists of a hot and cold buffet of first courses, main dishes with culinary specialities and desserts. Our chefs prepare some dishes in the restaurant, in front of the guests. Special theme buffet twice a week. All national alcoholic and soft drinks taken in the bars and restaurants of the hotel including those taken in the pizzeria, the entrance to the Riu Palace Macao Casino and the Pacha discothèque (excl. special nights), the entry to and the drinks taken in the anfitheatre Copacabana, as well as the restocking of the mini-bar, the safe, and the sports and entertainment opportunities described above, are included in the basic price.
