Hotel Riu Palace Mexico 
The Riu Palace Mexico, a modern five star All Inclusive hotel, which opened in November 1999, is situated next to a beautiful beach of white sand, just 3kms from the small town of Playa del Carmen. The Riu Palace Mexico, which is next to the Hotel Riu Yucatán, is part of an elegant development that has a modern 18 hole golf course. Not far away, is the famous "Calle Méjicana" or "Mexican Street" which is ideal for taking a stroll and making your best purchases.
The hotel offers
The Hotel Riu Palace Mexico with its elegant and luxurious decor in the typical style of the aristocratic Mexican "haciendas" or ranches, offers every comfort and is air conditioned throughout. Various architectural details heighten the beauty of the different rooms, which include the vestibule cafeteria, the chapel, the lounge, the bar, the conference room, the speciality restaurant and the dining room which has a no smoking area. In the "Mexican Street" there is hairdresser’s, gym, souvenir shop, jeweller’s, medical service, etc. In the luxurious gardens, next to the beach, you will find an Italian restaurant, a Mexican restaurant, and all the swimming pool facilities: aquatic bar, children’s swimming pool, loungers, sun umbrellas and towels.
Rooms
434 in all. The rooms are comfortable and, as you would expect from a hotel with Palace category, they are beautifully and tastefully decorated. They all have bath/wc, hair dryer, bidet, 110 V., telephone, sofa, satellite TV, central air conditioning, mini-bar, large variety of alcoholic drinks (drink dispenser), safe deposit box, ceiling fan and balcony or terrace. The suites are more spacious and some also have a jacuzzi.
Sports
The use of the following facilities is included in the basic price: gym, jacuzzi, two hard surface tennis courts, table tennis, volleyball, trial scuba diving in the pool, kayaks, pedalos, snorkelling, windsurfing and sailing. Furthermore, upon payment, you can enjoy water skiing, banana boat, jet ski, scuba diving and massage. There are also several interesting trips to be made near the hotel.

Live music, piano recitals and daytime entertainment several times a week. Shows, every night.
All Inclusive
Full board. Generous breakfast consisting of a buffet with wholemeal products, on the spot cooking, fruit, fresh fruit juices and cava. Optional continental breakfast. Lunch can be enjoyed in the Italian or the Mexican restaurants. For dinner, there is a hot or cold buffet, a pizza buffet and several dishes prepared in the hotel restaurant. Night time snack. Theme buffets twice a week and a gala dinner. Every day, in the "Rodizio Brasileño", an alternative dinner is offered, for which a reservation is required. Included in the basic price is the consumption of the snacks, soft drinks and alcoholic drinks, either national or international, that are served in all the bars and restaurants of the hotel, the consumption of the drinks that the guests have at their disposal in the mini-bar, periodically re-stocked, as well as the use of the safe deposit box and the sports installations as described above.
