CHICHEN-ITZA

The archaeological zone of Chichen-Itza is one the most visited regions in the peninsula of Yucatan. This majestic city of Chichen-Itza, capital of the ancient Maya was an important ceremonial center. See the magnificent pyramid, -The Castle-, the largest and most imposing structure at this archaeological site, the -Temple of the Warriors-, the -Observatory-, the -Ball Court-, and the -Sacred Well-, the place where numerous victims were sacrificed to the gods.

    Bring soft shoes, fresh clothes, hat, camera and sunblock lotion. According to governmental requirement, there is a charge of $8.00 USD for video camera use at the archaeological site of Chichen-Itza.

TULUM - AKUMAL

Tulum was a Mayan citadel which sits on a cliff overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea. The most outstanding structures are -The Castle-, a clifftop building that towers over the waters of the Caribbean and -The Temple of the Frescoes-. Just a few kilometers from Tulum is the beautiful beach of -Akumal-, an ideal site for snorkeling and swimming any time of the year.


TOUR INCLUDES

  • Round trip transportation aboard an air-conditioned bus
  • Service of bilingual tour guide
  • Entrance fees to the archaeological site of Tulum
  • One hour and a half to visit Tulum area
  • Two hours and a half to spend in Akumal, where you can snorkel and swim in the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea -see NOTE below-

NOTE

    Available but NOT INCLUDED are snorkeling and scuba diving equipment, horseback riding, bicycles, kayaks, sail boats, paddle boats and more.
