 LocationIn August 1998, Riu opened its second hotel in Mexico. Situated at 400 m from the stretching, idyllic beach of Playa del Carmen, this 5-star complex is surrounded by incredibly beautiful natural landscape and forms part of an exceptional Golf Resort. It is just 3 kms. from the small town of Playa del Carmen with its restaurants, shops, bars and some discothèques. Communications with the island of Cozumel and the archeological sites of the Yucatan peninsula are ideal.  The Club Hotel offers With All Inclusive service and practically everything one could possibly wish for, it is perfect for sun worshippers, people who love sport, and for those interested in cultural subjects. The main building houses Reception (credit cards accepted), several bars, a restaurant with no smoking section and a mini-market. At night, a . must. of a meeting place is the discothèque. In the Mexican street you will find a hairdresser´s, a jeweller´s, a gymnasium and a medical centre, etc. The beautiful gardens surround the fresh water swimming pool of 1.500 m2, the separate children´s swimming pool and a jacuzzi.
