Location
On the northern coast, on the picturesque bay of Maimón, 9 kms from Puerto Plata. The hotel, which is surrounded by mountains and tropical vegetation, is directly on a quiet beach where there are lots of shady areas beneath the leafy trees. 30 mins from the airport.

The hotel offers
The hotel, built in typical local style has a reception with foreign currency exchange (credit cards accepted), main restaurant "La Roca" located in the main building, "Macumba" snack-bar next to the beach, lounge-bar "La Rumba" with regular night time entertainment and the "La Plaza" bar. Fun and a good atmosphere can be enjoyed in the lively discothèque. The fresh-water swimming pool with children's section is ideal for relaxation. At the pool, loungers, sun umbrellas and towels are free at guests' disposal; on the beach, sun beds and towels. Furthermore, our guests can enjoy a variety of shops, mini-club with nursery, hairdresser's, gymnasium, beauty parlour, massage, games room with billiards and table football, souvenir shop and medical assistance, all in the "Caribbean Street".

Rooms
544 in all. Divided into two-storey bungalows, the rooms have two beds, bath/wc, satellite TV, telephone, mini-bar, liqueur dispenser, central air-conditioning, ceiling fan, safe deposit box and balcony or terrace. The suites also have a living room and sea views.

Sports
Wind-surfing, sailing and 1 trial scuba divein the pool, table tennis, gymnasium and 3 floodlit tennis courts are all free. At a fee, beauty parlour, massage. At the beach, at a fee, scuba diving school (Cert. Padi + Naui) and water skiing. About 15 km. away, there are also golf and horse riding.

Entertainment
Daily daytime entertainment programme and night time shows. Live music several times a week. Moreover, the discothèque Pacha is open 6 nights a week for you to enjoy.

Children
Several times a week, entertainment for children from 4-14 years old.

All Inclusive
Full board. Generous breakfast buffet with wholemeal products and on the spot cooking and/or continental breakfast/snack. At midday, hot and cold buffet, some dishes prepared in the restaurant in front of our guests. Dinner consists of excelent buffets accompanied by dishes prepared by our chefs directly in the restaurant. 2 theme buffets per week and possibility of alternative dinner. Night time snack. All national alcoholic and soft drinks consumed in the bars and restaurants of the hotel, the re-stocking of the mini-bar in the room, the safe, and the sports and entertainment described above, are included in the basic price. Free nursery from 19.00h to 24.00h (children from 0 to 4 years of age).
